Your privacy matters to us. This policy explains how Clover Labs collects, uses, and protects your information when you use the Clover app.
Information We Collect
When you create an account via Magic.link, we collect your email address and generate a non-custodial wallet on the Polygon blockchain. We also collect usage data including predicting activity, social interactions (posts, messages, follows), device information, and app analytics to improve the service.
Blockchain Data
Your predicting transactions are executed on-chain through the Polygon network and Polymarket smart contracts. On-chain data is publicly visible by nature. This includes your wallet address, prediction history, and token balances. Clover Labs does not control access to on-chain data.
How We Use Your Information
We use your information to: provide and operate the App, execute and track predictions, calculate fee tiers and referral rewards, power social features (feed, profiles, messaging), detect fraud and prevent abuse, communicate important updates, and comply with legal obligations.
Information Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We may share data with: Magic.link for authentication, Polymarket for trade execution, infrastructure providers who assist in operating the platform (hosting, analytics), and law enforcement when required by law. All third-party providers are bound by confidentiality obligations.
Social and Prediction Visibility
Your predicting activity, portfolio performance, and social posts may be visible to other Clover users through the feed, leaderboard, and profile features. You can manage what is visible through your privacy settings. Direct messages are private between participants.
Wallet and Private Keys
Clover uses Magic.link to generate and manage your wallet. Your private key is secured by Magic's infrastructure and is never stored on Clover Labs servers. You can export your private key at any time through the Privacy & Safety settings. Clover Labs cannot access or recover your private key.
Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures including encrypted communications (TLS), secure authentication tokens, and access controls.
Data Retention
We retain your account information and predicting history as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. If you delete your account, we will remove your personal data, though on-chain transaction records cannot be deleted due to the nature of blockchain technology.
Your Rights
You have the right to: access your personal data, correct inaccurate information, request deletion of your account, export your private key and wallet data, and opt out of non-essential communications. Contact us at main@clover.fun to exercise these rights.
Age Restriction
Clover is not intended for users under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If we discover such data has been collected, we will delete it promptly.
International Data
Your information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your own. By using Clover, you consent to this transfer. We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place for international data transfers.
Changes to This Policy
Clover Labs may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes through the App or by email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
